Receiver advertised different requirements

I purchased the receiver for the iPod Touch/iPhone, of which I still have a first generation iPod Touch. I purchased it because the box said the software required iOS 3.0, and I now discover that the current version of the app requires iOS 4.0 or 5.0. So much for my radio receiver. They should maintain a version for iOS 3.0 if they continue to advertise as such.

Oh well; at least it still functions as a physical control for all of my other music playing. Good thing I got it on clearance.
